Relaxing in the comfort of your own home
Posted on Jul 10th, 2009 by Receptionist Carol | 1 Comments
Looking for an easy way to relax at home? Take a nice warm bath! Instead of bubbles, our Esthetician, Lauren, recommends the following “extras” to help you de-stress and pamper yourself:
- Cucumber slices make great cooling eye masks, but you can also add them to your bath water!
- Try essential oils in the water, such as rose, sandalwood, or lavender for some relaxing aromatherapy.
- Always follow up with a soothing moisturizer (we recommend Bioelements’ Vitalization Body Lotion) to maintain moisture.
- Peppermint oil provides a nice cooling effect. Drop it in your bath water or try a peppermint lotion on hot summer days. Tea tree oil on your toes is nice too!
Use these ideas with a few scented candles and you will have your own mini-spa experience at home!
